Phillies acquire Pache from A’s

The Philadelphia Phillies have acquired outfielder Cristian Pache from the Oakland Athletics in exchange for pitcher Billy Sullivan, the teams announced.

Pache, a good defensive outfielder, gives the Phillies more outfield depth. He will likely just be used for his defense at the end of games or just to fill in when the starters need a rest day.

Billy Sullivan is a relief pitcher who was drafted by the Phillies in 2017. He has posted an ERA under 4 in 64 career games in the minors.
