Rutschman Sets Records In O’s 10-9 win

Rutschman Sets Records In O’s 10-9 win

Adley Rutschman might be the best catcher in Major League Baseball in YEAR TWO.

Rutschman had a lot of hype heading into his first career Opening Day start Thursday against the Boston Red Sox. He didn’t disappoint. Adley finished 5-5 which included four singles, a homerun, and a walk. He also drove in four runs.

He is the first catcher since 1901 to have five hits or reach base six times in the first game of the season. Rutschman is also the first player to go 5-5 with four RBIs on Opening Day. The Orioles need him to perform well if they want to make it to the postseason for the first time since 2016. I have a feeling he can keep this up.
