Robert Saleh Says Elijah Moore Won’t Be Traded

New York Jets wide receiver requested a trade from the team, citing his frustration with his usage and role on the team, per Ian Rapoport.

New York’s Head Coach — Robert Saleh said Friday morning that the team will not be trading the 22-year-old receiver. Moore will not play on Sunday vs the New England Patriots.

Moore, the second-year pass catcher, has 16 catches this season for a total of 203 yards. He has played over 85% of the Jets’ offensive snaps in the first five weeks, but his snap count dipped last week when he only played 66% of the team’s offensive plays.
