Source: Jets Fear ACL Tear For Breece Hall

The New York Jets have a new star running-back in town, but everyone might need to wait to see him again. Breece Hall, rookie running back from Iowa State, went down on Sunday in the Jets’ 16-9 win over the Broncos.

Hall, who had four rushes for 72 yards Sunday before injuring his knee, had a 62 yard touchdown rush, sending social media into a frenzy.

The rookie running back totaled 463 rushing yards in the first seven games of the season.

The Jets fear that Hall suffered a torn ACL on Sunday, a source said. Hall’s MRI results will come in early this week, which will give the full diagnosis.

When asked on the extent of Hall’s injury after the game on Sunday, Jets Head Coach Robert Saleh showed concern:

Breece doesn’t look good. Initial diagnosis doesn’t look good. We’ll see tomorrow… ACL.
