Chiefs Place Hardman on IR

The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver depth has taken somewhat of a hit (literally) in the last week or so.

First, Juju Smith-Schuster, who was hit in the head in what was a head-to-head hit on Sunday vs Jacksonville.

Now, wide-receiver Mecole Hardman, who suffered an abdomen injury, is being placed on Injured Reserve.

This move knocks Hardman out at least four games. He will be eligible to return in Week 15 against the Houston Texans.

Hardman is also dealing with an illness.

Smith-Schuster is still in concussion protocol.

If Schuster does not play this weekend, Kansas City will likely rely on Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Kadarius Toney, and rookie wide receiver Skyy Moore.
