Division III CB Anthony Kendall Speaks To 7 NFL Teams: Source

Baldwin Wallace, a Division III school just outside of Cleveland, Ohio, now has an NFL prospect — and his stock is skyrocketing. Meet Anthony Kendall: A standout cornerback and former Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jacket.

The 6’0″ cornerback opened some eyes at The University of Toledo’s Pro Day in which he participated. The D-3 prospect ran a 4.45 40-yard dash, recorded an astounding 11’1″ broad jump, and had a vertical of 39.5 inches.

The surprising yet intriguing numbers drew Kendall some interest from seven NFL teams, a source tells The Sports Place’s Arye Pulli — the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams, Atlanta Falcons, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, and Philadelphia Eagles.

There are currently only six former Division III players in the National Football League:

  • Jake Kumerow
  • Dan Arnold
  • Quinn Meinerz
  • Nickolas Morrow
  • Darius Williams
  • Ben Bartch
