Suns Hiring Frank Vogel as HC

Frank Vogel had most recently won a NBA championship in the bubble year with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Despite the success with Lebron James and the Lakers, Vogel was fired in April of 2022 after missing out on the NBA postseason. He finished his time in L.A. with a 127-98 record in three seasons.

Since he was fired, Vogel has spent the past year taking a backseat to coaching, but will now lead a Phoenix Suns team hoping to get back to the NBA Finals.

According to Shams Charania of the Athletic, the Suns and Vogel are finalizing a five year contract valued at $31 million, making Vogel the coach of the future.

Vogel will become the leader of star studded Suns team, with another set of superstars at his disposal.
