Kemba Walker, Knicks To Work Towards Offseason Trade

The New York Knicks and Kemba Walker have agreed that the guard will sit out for the rest of the season in order to prepare his body for the 2022 offseason.

The two sides mutually agreed on this so that the Knicks front office can work on a trade that would send Walker away from New York in the offseason.

Walker will have an expiring contract in the summer and is scheduled be making around $8.95 Million in the coming season.

Walker is averaging 11.6 points per game this season on an average of 25.6 minutes per game.
