Bayern Munich, agree to terms, for Spurs Superstar Harry Kane.

The Harry Kane saga is officially over in North London as the Tottenham legend and all-time leading goal scorer is set to depart the club after spending the past 19 years with the team.

Spurs and Bayern agreed to a fee of $120 million for the English forward, as Bayern will be paying a weekly wage of $530,000, according to sources.

The Englishmen is set to depart for the German powerhouse Bayern Munich as Bayern prepares to maintain its dominance in the Bundesliga and looks to return atop the UEFA Champions League.

As the dominance of Bayern shows no signs of slowing down in German football, it is almost inevitable that Harry Kane will finally win a trophy, something that has hindered his career in terms of comparisons to the all-time great number nines. It is of note that Kane was on track to set the Premier League goal record, as he currently sits second all-time with 213 Premier League goals.

It looks like Kane will never be able to get that opportunity to surpass the great Alan Shearer, but he will search for the chance to hoist his first major trophy. Kane will go down as the best player in Spurs history and an all-time England great, but Kane’s lack of team success will always stand out.

Spurs and Kane have had many opportunities along the way, finishing runner-up to Liverpool in the 2019 Champions League final, as well as finishing in the top four multiple times in the Premier League, most notably finishing second in 2017.

Turning 30 in July, the Englishman seems on track to continue his goal-scoring dominance within the German League. It is unknown what Kane’s future will hold at Bayern, but I would not rule out a return in the future to Tottenham.
