Bears Place Herbert on IR

The Chicago Bears have placed young running back Khalil Herbert on Injured Reserve.

Herbert suffered a hip injury in Sunday’s 31-30 loss vs the Lions.

He has rushed for 643 rushing yards along with four rushing touchdowns this season.

The Bears also waived defensive end Kingsley Jonathan and claimed defensive back Justin Layne off of waivers.
