Browns Give Landry Permission to Seek Trade

There was lots of movement around the NFL on Saturday afternoon. This time — Jarvis Landry.

The Cleveland Browns have granted permission to veteran WR Jarvis Landry to seek a trade, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

NFL Network reports that Landry and his camp are open to remaining with the Browns, but it wouldn’t be at the $15M he’s currently scheduled to earn.

This comes after the Browns agreed to a trade, acquiring Amari Cooper from the Cowboys in exchange for a 5th and 6th round pick.

Landry has had three 1,000 yard seasons, including one with the Browns — and will now likely be catching passes from another team.
