Bud Dupree, Falcons Agree To One-Year Contract

The Atlanta Falcons are signing former Titans and Steelers linebacker Bud Dupree to a one-year contract, according to multiple reports (Klein, Rapoport). The deal is worth up to $5 million.

Dupree played in 11 games in 2021 and 2022 with the Titans, posting below-average numbers with Tennessee while dealing with injuries. He was released by the Titans just two years after signing a 5-year deal worth $82.5 million.

Now, he joins a Falcons team to bolster their linebacker corps. Dupree, who is 30 years old, has played 5,000 career snaps, most of them being with the Pittsburgh Steelers garnering 196 career solo tackles and 46 sacks.
