McDaniels Being Hired as Raiders Next HC

See What’s Next for Both Sides:

News is flooding in. The Las Vegas Raiders are making huge moves for their organization.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the LV Raiders are hiring New England Patriots GM Dave Ziegler as their new General Manager:

Ziegler was a big part in keeping New England afloat after the departure of Tom Brady, but this hire is not the only one.

Josh McDaniels — the New England Patriots Offensive Coordinator — is also being hired by the Raiders. They are finalizing a deal to make McDaniels their new Head Coach, according to multiple reports.

Las Vegas has been looking for a new Head Coach since Jon Gruden resigned after a slew of accusations were made against him, including sending many racist, homophobic, and sexist emails.

Rich Biasca stepped in as the Raiders interim Head Coach while the Raiders needed to fill the void at the spot and he was a candidate for the Head Coaching position, but Las Vegas turned a different direction — hiring McDaniels.

As for the Patriots — one name to watch out for to fill the now vacant Offensive Coordinating spot — Alabama Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach Bill O’Brien, a source told The Sports Place.

O’Brien served as a coach under Bill Belichick’s staff from 2007 – 2011 and was the Patriots Offensive Coordinator during the 2011 season.
