Pacers guard and rising star, Tyrese Haliburton, has been named Eastern Conference Player of the Week, and Kings star De’Aaron Fox has been named Western Conference Player of the Week.
Tyrese Haliburton
Haliburton has averaged an outstanding 21 PPG, 11 APG, and 4 RPG while leading the Pacers to a 3-0 record on the week. Haliburton is also leading the NBA in assists per game with 10.5, an amazing feat for a second-year player.
Against the Hornets, Haliburton scored 22 points, 2 rebounds, 11 assists, and 3 steals in a 125-113 win.
He then went for a 19-point performance with 6 rebounds, 8 assists, and 1 steal in a 99-91 win against the Rockets
In Haliburton’s second 22-point performance of the week, he had 4 rebounds, 14 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks during a 114-113 win against the Magic
De’Aaron Fox
De’Aaron Fox had an outstanding week where he averaged 25 PPG and 8 APG on 60% shooting from the field. His efforts helped the Kings go 3-0 for the week.
Fox started the week off slow with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 9 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block in a dominating 153-121 win against the Nets.
He then got hot and put up 28 points on 11-15 shooting from the field and 2-3 from three. He also added 3 rebounds, 8 assists, and 1 steal. The Kings got their second win of the week over the Spurs with a score of 130-112.
Fox then ended the week with a bang which included 33 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists during a 137-129 win against the Detroit Pistons.
