Raiders Give Derek Carr A Huge Extension

The Las Vegas Raiders are keeping their franchise quarterback around for a few more years.

The Raiders and star quarterback Derek Carr have agreed to terms on a 3-year contract extension, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The deal is worth $121.5 million and runs through 2025.

Carr is 31 years old and is a key factor to the high-powered Las Vegas offense that includes wide receiver Davante Adams and tight end Darren Waller.

Carr threw for 4,804 passing yards last season along with 23 touchdowns. Las Vegas lost to the Bengals in the Wild Card round to the eventual team that lost the Super Bowl — the Bengals.
