Source: Rams Waiving RB Darrell Henderson

The Los Angeles Rams are waiving starting running back Darrell Henderson, a source told The Sports Place’s Arye Pulli.

Henderson had 283 rushing yards along with 3 rushing touchdowns with the Rams this season.


Los Angeles will now look ahead to running backs Cam Akers, who has had issues with the team this season, and rookie running back Kyren Williams.

Akers missed a few weeks this season due to personal reasons and was being shopped at the trade deadline. Los Angeles couldn’t find any trade partners so he returned to the team.

The Rams are very high on running back Kyren Williams and his future with the team, sources said, as Williams can make a big impact on the team moving forward.

Williams is a rookie from Notre Dame who the Rams selected with their third pick in the 2022 NFL draft.
