Tampa Bay GM Jason Licht Would Welcome TB12 Back

The Buccaneers are not giving up on Tom Brady.

When asked on if he is ready to accept Tom Brady’s retirement, Tampa Bay Buccaneers GM Jason Licht didn’t shut the door:

“We’re going to leave the light on [for a return].”

Brady announced his retirement a few weeks ago, but said publicly that he could ponder a potential return to the NFL sometime in the future

When asked if he felt that Brady could come back, Buccaneers Head Coach Bruce Arians said that there is no chance:

“He slammed it shut when I talked to him.”

Tampa Bay will now look elsewhere for a quarterback and is expected to be in the market for a few star quarterbacks that may be moved, including Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson.
