Dallas just traded for guard Spencer Dinwiddie and forward Davis Bertans in exchange for big man Kristaps Porzingis, but is still interested in bringing Dragić on the squad.
In the summer on a Slovenian TV station Dragić also expressed his interest in playing alongside Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic:
Among other teams that are expected to express interest in Dragić — the Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, and the Los Angeles Clippers, according to Wojnarowski.
Dragić last played on November 13th, where he totaled 16 points in 28 minutes. He has played a total of five games this year, averaging eight points per game before he indefinitely left the team due to personal reasons. His away from the team status did not change until he was traded and it could stay that way until he is bought out.
