Week 7 NFL Injury Roundup + Developing Stories

Week 7 of the NFL season is just hours away. Here is everything you need to know!

Who’s in, Who’s Out?

• Ravens tight-end Mark Andrews, who is dealing with a knee injury, is expected to play vs the Browns.

• Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett, who is dealing with a hamstring injury, is expected to play vs the Chargers.

• Lions running back D’Andre Swift, who has missed time with an ankle and shoulder injury, is not expected to play today, barring any unforeseen surprises.

• Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen, who has been dealing with a hamstring injury since week one, will be a game-time decision today. He wants to see how he feels. Los Angeles has a bye next week and Allen could benefit from that.

• Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, who is dealing with a hip injury, is expected to play today. Mack Hollins, dealing with a heel injury, will be a game-time decision.

• Panthers cornerback Donte Jackson is expected to play, while cornerback Jaycee Horn is a game-time decision.

• Patriots quarterback Mac Jones, who has been dealing with an ankle injury, has been trending upwards towards playing.

• Commanders wide receiver Jahan Dotson, who re-aggravated his hamstring in practice this week, won’t play today.

• Jaguars wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr, who is dealing with a hamstring injury, will play vs the Giants.

Overnight Headlines

• Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco took the first-team reps in practice this week and is expected to be the starter at running back vs. the 49ers.

Pacheco will replace former first-rounder Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who will still have a key role on offense. Kansas City often rotates backs and both are expected to see significant snaps.

• Broncos QB Russell Wilson is dealing with a partially torn hamstring. He will not play today.

Tests on Tuesday revealed the partial tear — also known as a Grade 2 strain — which is generally a multiple-week injury because of the risk of additional damage.

Wilson’s status for next week is in doubt.

• The Panthers rejected an offer of two first-round picks for defensive end Brian Burns and isn’t expected to trade him. Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn and DJ Moore before next Tuesday’s trade deadline is unlikely also.

• The Broncos have received multiple trade calls for defensive end Bradley Chubb, along with wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler. Teams believe that the Broncos will not sell low in any deal.

The Broncos also are thought to be open to trading tight end Albert Okwuegbubam, who is one of five tight ends on the their roster and has not gotten the opportunity to play.
