Week 8 is upon us! Here are the biggest headlines and injury updates!

Injury Report:

• Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz, who is dealing with a knee injury, is expected to play.

• Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott, who is dealing with a knee injury, is not expected to play.

• Cowboys star Micah Parsons, dealing with a shoulder injury, is expected to play.

• Colts DB Kenny Moore, who is dealing with a finger injury suffered in practice this week, is expected to play today.

• Cardinals CB Byron Murphy, who is dealing with a back injury, is expected to play.

• Commanders tight-end Logan Thomas, who is dealing with a calf injury, is expected to play.

• Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who suffered a concussion last week, is expected to play today. He cleared the protocol.

• Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams, who has been dealing with the flu all week, is expected to play through his sickness today.

• Seahawks wide receivers DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, dealing with knee and hamstring injuries respectively, are both expected to play today.

• Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks, who is dealing with a wrist injury, is expected to play.

Overnight Headlines:

• Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Malik Willis is expected to make his first start today as veteran Ryan Tannehill battles an illness and an ankle injury.

• The Broncos have fielded trade calls for Bradley Chubb, KJ Hamler, and Jerry Jeudy, but are not expected to do a deal unless they get the perfect offer.

Chubb is more likely to be traded than Jeudy and Hamler are.

• The Jaguars are not expected to trade star pass rusher Josh Allen, as Allen is expected to remain a key piece of Jacksonville’s team.

• Saints general manager Mickey Loomis would want a Christian McCaffrey-type deal in order to trade away superstar running-back Alvin Kamara.

• Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks has been the subject of many trade calls and he will be one of the top receivers in trade talks.

• Patriots OT Isaiah Wynn, a first-round pick in the 2018 draft, is playing on his fifth-year option and likely is available for the right price.

• Patriots wide-receivers Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor are both expected to be considered to be moved before the trade deadline.

• The Panthers plan to keep defensive end Brian Burns out of trade talks and to ultimately extend him.

• The Browns have taken calls on running-back Kareem Hunt, and the Jets had some interest before they traded for James Robinson. on Oct. 24. The Browns will only accept a trade at the price they want.

• The Rams will continue listening to trade calls for running-back Cam Akers, but there hasn’t been much. He will rejoin the team if he’s not traded by Tuesday.

• Steelers wide-receiver Chase Claypool isn’t expected to be dealt before the trade deadline.
