WFT, Leno Agree To $37.5M Extension

The Washington Football Team and former Pro-Bowl Left Tackle Charles Leno have agreed to a three-year, $37.5M extension, according to multiple reports.

Leno, 30 was drafted in 2014 to the Chicago Bears. Right before the 2017-2018 season, he signed a four-year, $38M extension with Chicago. Leno was released by the Bears on May 3rd, 2021, and nearly two-weeks later he caught on with the Washington Football Team, signing a one-year contract.

The standout Left Tackle started all 16 games so far this season and was scheduled to become a free-agent in the off-season.
