Warriors, Wizards Agree to Swap Poole for Paul

The Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards are finalizing a deal that will send Jordan Poole and a 2030 1st and 2027 2nd round pick to Washington in exchange for Veteran Point Guard Chris Paul.

This deal comes following the trade that sent All-Star Bradley Beal to Phoenix, and Paul to Washington.

Looking ahead, Chris Paul now joins an elite backcourt of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson as he chases that championship ring, this time in the Bay Area.

It is yet to be seen how the Warriors will play all of their star guards at once, but adding a dynamic guard like Chris Paul to one of the smoothest offenses the league has ever seen will surely be a sight to see.

For the Wizards, they add a young star in Poole and picks, as they enter rebuild mode.
