Jordan Clarkson, Jazz Agree on New 3-Year Extension

The Utah Jazz and veteran guard Jordan Clarkson have reached a finalized contract renegotiation and extension, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The terms of the deal — three-years worth a total of $55 million.

Clarkson’s tenure with the Jazz has been marked by his offensive firepower and instant scoring off the bench.

Since his arrival in December 2019, he quickly established himself as a fan favorite, injecting energy and excitement into the game whenever he stepped onto the court. His ability to create his own shot and score from various positions on the floor made him a vital component of the team’s offensive strategy.

While the Jazz may not currently have their former key players, Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, on the roster, Clarkson’s contract extension demonstrates the team’s commitment to building a competitive squad.

With his scoring prowess and versatility, Clarkson will help lead Utah alongside All-Star forward Lauri Markkanen. The Jazz are looking to him to provide consistent scoring and leadership during this transitional phase.

The deal runs through the 2025-26 NBA season.
